More Prints

Another busy day screen printing yesterday for degree show stall and general sale. I wish i could do more but yesterday was last day of term and i can no longer use the print room.

 I said god damn.

Screen prints

Who wants a print? Started making screen prints today to sell at my degree show which will be at The Old Truman Brewery in brick lane next week. Will also start selling prints on etsy soon enough. More to come.

FOLK CULTURE

 These are a few illustration from my Folk Culture magazine I did for my minor project. All computer illustrated as I wanted to create simplistic illustrations that reflected the look of folk art. Will post photos of the magazine at some point.

Iconic Women

 This was a commission I did for my sister, who wanted some large artwork to brighten up her flat. She gave me some quotes from iconic women which I then illustrated in a vintage style.

Teddy Boys

Illustration for current project about Subcultures and youth culture done in Illustrator and photoshop, I'm doing a magazine but i might include a set of posters like this for each subculture. Bit different from my usual style, I'm trying to get a bit more graphic with my illustration for this project.

The Decemberists

Decided to practice using a bit of adobe illustrator as i never touch it, see if i can get a bit more graphic as i cant be arsed to draw today. Made this poster thing as a tribute to my favourite song 'The Mariners revenge song'. I swear iv seen this before, looks really familiar, iv probably ripped someone off without realising. Its just a practice anyway so shut it.

10 Awkward moments

This is a mock up of one of the ten poster designs i will be doing for my current project about awkward situations. Final piece will be ten posters folded like this, with the main design on one side and a number with a description of the situation on the other side. All ten posters will then be packaged in some way. I havent decided yet.
